On her debut album 'Holding Tight Lightly', Leipzig-based singer-songwriter ANTONÍ combines mystical, soul-searching melodies with clear acoustic elements and organic electronics. 

Recorded in 2022/23 at Sen Bakkal Studio in Istanbul, with producer Can Güngör and Norwegian co-arranger Einar Stray, the album is characterized by contrasts: from the quiet forests of Thuringia to the noisy streets of Istanbul. ANTONÍ spent a formative year in Utrecht, in a community of emigrated Turkish artists. There, her connection to the Istanbul music scene deepened and the vision for her album was born. 'Holding Tight Lightly' was released in spring 2024 and received widespread media coverage. After many years of playing in clubs and at international festivals, ANTONÍ recently took the stage with a new 7-piece band for her vinyl release show, playing to a full house at 'die NaTo' in Leipzig.
